Humming for Life

From the very young to the elderly, everyone can hum. Science gives evidence that self-created sounds have numerous benefits. Humming, which is vibration, may be used to restore the natural frequency of an organ or system.
A series of breathing exercises will ensure that you are, in fact, breathing diaphragmatically. Working with your breath, you will practice toning – a type of humming – by making elongated vowel sounds. These vibrations can be felt in different parts of your body.
